Starting to tone somewhat, but it's a high grade coin with underlying lustre.
Gorgeous high grade example of the best date for Edward VII farthings. Mint darkened to avoid confusion with half sovereigns, of course.
All the silver from 1913 is trickier than you might expect. This is a very good example of the particularly tricky shilling.
What struck me about this coin was the beard detail. You just don't see that much of it in coins of this era. Even in higher grade examples.
