Lovely mature lustre and very little wear to speak of. Top quality material I think you'll agree.
A little scarcer, in my experience, than the Toothed Border farthing. More lustre on the obverse of this coin than on the reverse, but not a great deal of discernable wear on either side - only the usual weak strike around the exergue.
Nice strong example of what is fast becoming my favourite series. I just love the weight of 'em, and the surface texture, when they're this good.
Possibly wiped a while ago, but it's recovered well and still retains a significant amount of original lustre. It's a very attractive example.
I like to use the border beads to distinguish the two effigies on 1926 silver. The First Head is significantly scarcer than the Modified Head, and this is a very decent example.
